Baby eczema can be difficult and traumatic for both baby and parents, but early signs can be picked up. When you baby was put into your arms for the very first time, did you notice anything odd?. Baby eczema can usually be grown out of, since it is an allergy. Soy milks can be recommended for an infant that still requires copious amounts of milk. Goat’s milk is the next best option if the soy milk still causes a problem for the baby eczema and is also available of the shelf. Health care professionals can recommend formulations if of the shelf products don’t help.

Further Options to Treat Baby Eczema

Other baby eczema treatments such as forms of external medications and creams can be used along with changing the milk. Since petroleum is not used in these creams, they do not penetrate the skin. Itchiness and dry skin are also alleviated by other gentle ingredients such as aloe. Creams containing cortisone may be prescribed, if the problem is severe, until the symptoms are relieved. But it has its own side effects such as thinning of the skin over time and weight gain. Once the cortisone ointment for the baby eczema is discontinued you will see that the weight shed over a bit of time.
